Couple of fun facts. The capital gains discount results in $23billion of lost revenue each year and 80% of this goes to just 10% of our population, so basically $18 billion is divvied up between around 3 million lucky Australians each year. Dutton wants to take away the latest round of tax cuts from all Australians to pay for defence. He won't touch the capital gains discount, won't touch the family trust rort, wants to get rid of the recent superannuation changes, everything is off the table except the tax cuts that go to lower and middle income earners.
Basically the system is losing $100s of billions each year to these tax dodges all designed for one purpose, so the wealthiest get to keep their pots of gold. Who pays for everything? the majority of Australians and in the future, their kids and grand kids.
But yeah, let's get rid of the Greens.

The whole electoral "volunteer" set up needs to be scrapped. Have the how to vote cards on a table on the way in, grab what you are interested in and do your civic duty. Lots of tales of bullying, intimidation and general poor behaviour at the pre poll booths. It's like having a couple of Indos, Jeffs and Burls banging on at you while you are stuck in a queue. Not needed, ruin the vibe, they can fuck right off.

I got in right on opening time, hung out front for 10 minutes or so with about another 20 people. No dramas with volunteers, the lnp had put streamer poster banner thing all along the fence, probably 30m in total. Get back on track hahahaha. They had the most presence, then 2nd for local independent.
Once opened people queued except a couple who pushed in and would ya guess, they had lnp how to vote cards in their hands.
Who would have thought???
