Lower your expectations for Wednesday and focus on Friday onwards.
Northerly winds and a good, new swell are due on the weekend. Mid-next week looks to become large and windy with snow in the alpine regions.
Easing surf over the coming days so make the most of today. Next week becomes more active again with a possible mix of moderate to large swells.
A solid westerly swell is due tomorrow, best in protected spots which will be smaller and slower. Easing surf as winds shift more northerly is expected for the rest of the week.
Today's inconsistent W/SW groundswell will fade over the weekend with another westerly swell due Tuesday but with more reliable size and consistency compared to today's.
The coming period looks great and active for the Surf Coast with increasing westerly swell energy. Locations to the east will improve from Friday through the weekend.
While conditions improve from tomorrow, Wednesday onwards looks much better with the arrival of back to back, moderate sized groundswells.
