Small inconsistent background swells over the coming week (a bit stronger later Friday and Saturday), with some much better S/SW swell early next week.
On Wednesday, this south swell will fade but it’ll be replaced from mid-late morning onwards (mid afternoon across the Far North) by a new long period S’ly swell generated by a polar low traversing below the continent yesterday.
Fun S'ly swell across magnets tomorrow, with a windy increase Friday, cleaner and easing Saturday with a reinforcing SE swell Sunday.
There are a couple of sources of new swell for the coming days.
Good sized and easing SW swell tomorrow with all day offshores, smaller Wednesday and clean again. New W/SW swell for Thursday with morning offshores.
Small swells with good conditions Wednesday and Thursday morning. Large swell for the weekend but onshore in the South West, cleaner further north.
Great conditions tomorrow with a moderate S/SW swell, clean Wednesday morning. Less than ideal Thursday but good again Friday with plenty of S/SW swell. Strong W/SW swell from Sunday.
Good waves across most of the state tomorrow with a fun SW swell and offshore breeze, best on the Surf Coast from Wednesday. Good conditions with plenty of swell from the weekend.
The primary source of our current SE swell began to abate yesterday so we’re looking at a steady easing trend through Saturday.
