The model guidance is showing some interesting developments associated with the monsoon trough across the northern Coral Sea.
This is expected to rapidly strengthen a broad E’ly fetch in our prime swell window, and will generate a solid E’ly swell that’s expected to push through for Wednesday, ahead of a peak in size on Thursday.
Building N/NE windswell over the weekend, peaking Monday as a change moves through. Easing into Tuesday with some new S/SE windswell. Large E/NE groundswell building through Thursday and peaking Friday morning.
