First things first: we’re staring down the barrel of an extended run of typical winter synoptics, which typically means little to no trade swell activity for our region, and therefore little to no east swell.
There’s a lot of activity in our south swell window. And it’s all associated with an amplifying the Long Wave Trough that’s bringing about an impressive cold snap to the region.
Flukey tomorrow, much better Friday with a large new S/SE groundswell, easing slowly through the weekend.
Plenty of swell out of the south but with onshore winds, cleaner into the weekend.
A fairly average end to the week, improving through Friday ahead of large clean surf on the weekend. Follow up large surf early next week but with funky winds.
Not the best outlook with onshore winds and large easing surf down South, cleaner on the Mid before the swell fades.
