The next high pressure ridge will build in on Tues next week and if current modelling holds we should see weak but persistent tradewinds develop in the Coral Sea mid next week with small but rideable surf developing Wed or Thurs.

The period remains overactive with strong swells out of the westerly quadrant due to continue.

The coming period will favour the South Coast before options open up inside the gulf early next week.

Frontal activity is going to generate some small S pulses in the short term with some fun waves on tap at S facing beaches. Next week we should see a stronger system move NE into the Tasman potentially generating some sizier S swell. Quite a decent outlook for September.
