By the weekend we’ll see a new high pressure cell in the Tasman and a persistent E/SE trade flow developing off the top of the high.
Sat looks like more energy, as NE windswell builds in response to a strengthening N/NE flow as high pressure and an approaching trough combine.
The outlook for next week is…….awesome if you are a kid or learning to surf. Day after day of small surf from the E and light winds.

The coming days will become bigger but messier with average winds. The weekend looks much better.

The coming period is workable with building levels of west swell.
Trades looks to develop later in the weekend and early next week, although major models are still divergent over how strong they are. Under an optimistic scenario we should start to see small E’ly tradeswell build in this weekend and persist at low levels next week.
