We’ve currently got a deep polar low with two strong embedded fronts tracking NE into the lower Tasman. High pressure moves up over NSW with easing pressure gradients while a trough deepens off the QLD coast and drifts south over the weekend.

There'll be improving surfing options over the weekend, best Sunday for spots to the east. Next week looks a little better as well.

Tomorrow looks OK but the weekend is much better for a surf across the region.

It’s an impressive fetch with severe gale to storm force winds in a wide band moving NE, only offset by winds being not perfectly aimed up the pipe.
