Despite the current easing trend in NE windswell, the fetch off the coast is expected to remain at strength overnight and into Saturday morning.

New SW and S/SE swells for the weekend but with onshore winds. Good new swell for later Monday, but onshore again. Clean early Tuesday. Another good swell late next week but with average winds.
Small easing S/SW swell with E/NE tending N/NE winds tomorrow, building SW swell Sunday but with developing onshore winds. Average through Monday and Tuesday with a large new SW groundswell for Wednesday with light winds.
Weak W/SW swell for the Mid tomorrow with S/SE winds, onshore down South. Cleaner and peaky South Coast Sunday morning with easing surf, then much cleaner Monday and Tuesday. Strong W/SW swell later next week with S/SE winds.
Onshore winds with a building mix of swells tomorrow, easing Sunday and remaining onshore. Cleaner and smaller Monday morning, with a good new swell later in the day, easing Tuesday. Strong W/SW groundswell later week but with average winds.
A new S/SW groundswell filling in today will ease off from tomorrow, smaller into early next week. Inconsistent but good direction SW swell for Tuesday ahead of a larger S/SW groundswell later in the week.

This event should set up a solid SE groundswell for much of the NSW coast; even SE Qld should see some good waves from this source.
