Fortunately, a ridge will build through the central Tasman Sea around the same time and this will build SE swells across the region through Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Easing N'ly swell with average winds to end the week, cleaner and with a good large N/NW groundswell over the weekend, easing into early next week ahead of an XL N/NW groundswell Wednesday though with poor winds. Good N/NW groundswell for Micronesia New Year's Eve.
A trough moving up the coast will disrupt the N’ly flow off the Mid North Coast on Thursday.
