The forecast charts look impressive with lots of sizeable swell from the NE, but in general it’s all just locally generated windswell.
A building E/NE tending NE swell through the weekend, large Sunday with improving winds late. Offshore Monday.
There won’t be any shortage of NE swell this weekend, but the accompanying winds will generally be fresh and gusty from the same direction, so quality will be somewhat limited for the most part.
Poor outlook for the most part besides a couple of small windows of decent conditions and inconsistent swell around the South Arm.
A few options out of the wind with a large new swell for the weekend, easing into next week with better winds for more exposed breaks.
Not much in the way of quality surf this period with an easing stormy swell on the South Coast, with a new SW groundswell to follow up but with poor winds for the South Coast.
Tricky winds again tomorrow though becoming favourable for selected spots through the morning, cleaner but smaller Sunday. New swell early next week with average waves to end the week.
