Friday’s where all of the action is due to kick in.
Friday does have an interesting new swell on the cards, but I’m really not confident in whether we’ll see anything appreciable on the Mid Coast.
Nothing great is expected in the surf department for the rest of the week, due to a persistent south-east wind regime.
It’s hard to make a judgement call on the weekend’s prospective surf outlook because regardless of local winds and swell trends, the previous few days rain activity will have a reasonable bearing on the surf quality.
The short range NE swell we’ve enjoyed all week will slowly begin to fade over the coming 24 hours, but it’ll be replaced by a bigger, strong E/NE groundswell.
Saturday’s shaping up pretty well across both coasts.
We’re still on track for some good waves this weekend.
We’ve got some reall nice surf likely over the coming days.
