Southern Tasmania Surf Forecast by Craig Brokensha (issued Friday 22nd November)

Best Days: Sunday morning, early Monday

Recap

Tiny leftover surf yesterday, even small today and only for beginners.

This weekend and next week (Nov 23 - 29)

There's been no real change to the W/SW swell due over the weekend with the secondary stage of a slow moving frontal progression currently moving in from the west.

A great fetch of strong W/SW winds are acting on top an active sea state, generating a moderate sized but west swell for us.

Tomorrow morning will start tiny, with the swell building slowly into the afternoon and likely to 1-2ft by dark. Sunday should see the most size with 2ft waves across Clifton, easing from 1-2ft Monday.

Tomorrow will be clean ahead of the swell with a N/NW offshore, giving into S/SE sea breezes and then similar N/NW winds Sunday morning and afternoon S/SE sea breezes.

Monday should play out similar but get in early for all the size.

As touched on last update, there's nothing significant on the cards for the rest of the period at all so make the most of Sunday and Monday morning. Have a great weekend!
