Recap
Clean 2-3ft waves across Clifton Saturday morning ahead of a strong pulse of new SW groundswell with all day offshores offering some great peaking options.
Sunday saw plenty of swell but poor conditions with a strong polar front slamming into the state, bringing onshore winds.
This Tasman Low has already done most of its primary swell generation, so we’ll see wave heights start to ease off overnight and then continue downwards through Tuesday and Wednesday.
A return to onshore winds this week after the swell bottoms out tomorrow. Large swell for the weekend, clean around Perth as it eases Sunday. Fun S/SW groundswell Monday.
Fun reinforcing swell energy over the coming days with favourable winds, fading into the start of the weekend. New swell for Sunday afternoon and larger again early next week.
Fun waves across the Surf Coast reefs tomorrow and early Wednesday ahead of easing surf and better winds for the exposed beaches Thursday into the weekend.
Not a lot to get excited about this weekend. Though late Sunday has potential down south.
Sunday is complex from both a wind and swell perspective.
Late pulse of S'ly groundswell tomorrow with offshore winds, easing Sunday morning but with poor conditions. Late pulse of S'ly windswell, peaking early Monday and easing rapidly with improving winds.
Offshore winds with a strong increase in SW groundswell through tomorrow, onshore and with a mix of solid swells Sunday, easing Monday. Fun swells next week.
