Poor conditions all weekend and early next week with a large long-period W/SW groundswell filling in, mixed with mid-period and windswell. Better cleaner SW groundswells next Wednesday/Thursday and on Saturday.
Since last Monday I’ve been discussing the possibility of an ‘unstable troughy pattern across the eastern Tasman Sea next week’, which could lead to a ‘sizeable’, ‘short range E’ly through NE swell’.

New long-range and very inconsistent, small W/SW groundswell building Sunday, peaking Monday with favourable winds down South. Small W/SW swell for the Mid Coast Wednesday with better energy for the South Coast from late week.
