Since last Monday I’ve been discussing the possibility of an ‘unstable troughy pattern across the eastern Tasman Sea next week’, which could lead to a ‘sizeable’, ‘short range E’ly through NE swell’.
Average weekend with a small to tiny W/SW swell favouring the Mid Coast tomorrow, tiny down South and with dicey winds. New long-range and very inconsistent, small W/SW groundswell building Sunday, peaking Monday with favourable winds down South. Small W/SW swell for the Mid Coast Wednesday with better energy for the South Coast from late week.
Nothing of note through this forecast period as a blocking pattern is setup across our main swell windows. Better activity due from late next week but winds look suss.

Easing W/SW swell tomorrow with clean conditions around Mandurah and Perth, onshore Friday. Oversized W/SW groundswell building Saturday, peaking late and easing Sunday but with terrible winds. Cleaner from Tuesday next week with good SW groundswell pulses Wednesday and Friday.
