Central QLD: Tiny/flat surf continues- small waves mid next week

Nothing of interest this week in the Coral Sea so tiny/flat surf continues.

A low forms off the SEQLD/NENSW coast this weekend and drifts out towards the North Island next week.

Potential swell source next week

It’s a real monster of a system and we may see some long range SE-E/SE swell at spots open to the north of k’gari and the Breaksea spit with some 2-3ft sets through Tues and Wed.

We’ll see how it looks on Fri.

Update- still tracking this low near NZ as a potential swell source for CQ spots open to E/SE swells mid next week.
