From Swellnet's recent trip to a southern isle:

The last day of the trip saw Jackson Baker, Harry Bryant, and Joe Van Dijk, lob over the dunes to the same place they scored in sub zero temps a few days earlier. This time, however, the surf had dropped marginally and the air temperature had risen by a similarly modest magnitude, almost registering a balmy double digits.

They surfed until late afternoon, then thawed out by a fire on the beach as the ice blue waves turned a deep purple before the setting sun stripped all colour from the sky.
