Nigel Eberhardt has had a rough trot of late.

Back in April, after a day shooting Shipsterns, he lost his camera to the carpark asphalt. The result wasn't pretty. Then he got taken down by a mystery illness that, at one stage was incorrectly diagnosed as leukemia, but was narrowed to a nasty worm caught by swimming in the Nile. Finally, after mending his body and buying more gear he missed one of the biggest swells on the east coast of Tassie due to work commitments. 2010 is a year to forget for the talented Tasmanian.
