First stop

Y'seen the photos we posted of Mick and Kelly and Dane tearing up Cloudbreak? They were taken on Wednesday during a burst of long range south swell at the South Pacific reef. Before it travelled north however, that same swell hit the shores of Tasmania.

Bolt through the bush

Never mind the Harold Holt, I ain't got time for rhyming slang. With blue skies, a grinding left and zero crowds I'd be running down this bush track faster than Usain Bolt.

Thankfully Nicholas Green isn't quite so impatient and stopped to fire off a few shots.

Shelf Life

Tassie ain't all Shippies madness and isolated west coast reefbreaks. Despite the cold and the relentless Roaring 40's winds, Tassie can often be fun. In this session, Tassie photographer, Nicholas Green, captures locals timing their run across a shallow, barrelling shelf.

Midsummer Shippies

Under glorious blue skies bathers frolicked on the rocks, sailboats bobbed about in the bay and surfers took turns on the waves. What better way to spend a summers day then launching off a ten foot, triple-sucking death ledge? All photos Nicholas Green.//STUART NETTLE
