Billabong SurfAid Cup Sydney 2015 - video
For a second year in a row, “The Paddlers” team of Jackson English, Nigel Tebb, Brad Gaul and Rory Chapman along with pro surfer, Nick Butler have won the Billabong SurfAid Cup. The event is held at the stunning Queenscliff beach in Manly NSW with 18 teams raising an extraordinary $150,000 for humanitarian organisation SurfAid.
"The SurfAid Cup is such a great concept where likeminded surfers are able to get together and raise funds and awareness for SurfAid and the extraordinary work that they do in remote parts of Indonesia. For the second year in a row our team "The Paddlers" were able to take out the event by the slimmest of margins to the boys from Aquabumps. For all of us who love to surf and help SurfAid, being involved in a day such as the SurfAid Cup where we get to have fun, surf and do something that really matters to others is a very humbling experience. We're looking forward to the next SurfAid Cup already." Jackson English, Paddlers Team Captain.
