Artificial Reef - Palm Beach, Gold Coast

Any thoughts on the artificial reef construction going on in Palm Beach? The implications for surfing are pretty vague. I'm wondering if it will change the make-up of the banks to the south, although it will be sick to have a consistent break around 19th ave.
