Mighty Big Warm Welcome from Queenslanders to all Australian Firies!
Many as you know just returned from fighting the very same Californian fires.
Well those troopers again dig in to rescue Queenslanders in our State of Emergency.
Qld Premier reckons Vicco firies map already saved a whole town of 8,000 at Gracemere.
NSW got men on the ground + Air tanker Gaia ready for aerial assault.
Thanx also to Tassie/W.A./S.A/ACT/NT & Aust Defence Forces for helping fight our fires.
Thoughts also go out to those under flood down south. No easy way around it !
Excellent ,heart felt ,personal shot how humans do some of our best in hard times and tragedy .Great reading.
They also do some of their worst.
Wait for the stories of the looters and the profiteers who magically appear for the rebuild before we all join hands and sing kumbaya.
