Looks like the coastal land from the western end of Parsons Beach through Sheepies to Coolawang Beach (didn't know it was called that!) is all being solid off at once - apparently the real etstate signs went up yesterday.
Interesting developments after some recent discussions in the Victor Harbor tuna pen article comments (copied here).
I remember when Balquhidder Station went up for sale in the mid-2000's, of which Kerry Stokes (owner of Seven West Media, one of the richest blokes in Australia) then picked it up in 2007. Balquhidder has 9km of coastline between Parsons and Tunkalilla, of which I've hiked through there many times looking for waves (as have plenty of others).
The VH Times then reported in 2013 that Kerry was looking to purchase another 31ha of coastal land at Tunkalilla off the state government (is this at the eastern end? I'm not sure).
Wonder what the building restrictions are? Is Kerry Stokes also looking to buy this land?
Photos of the real estate signs.
Building restrictions are negotiable in Victor......if you've got the cash
Farrrk! I'm going to get a crowd-sourcing campaign started tomorrow!
Don't let the bastards grind you down
"Sheepies"..... I better surf that one day...... lol
Whats the price tag on this ?
Somewhere in the realm of 'Fuckloads' I'm guessing.
Offered for sale separately or as a whole , good aerial vid up on Elders site.
And this is what will be going on around the headland
Price guide now up for individual blocks : Elders Victor Harbour
Wow so they're selling right on Parsons Point and Sheepies, far out. As the Heysen Trail still runs here, access will still be available? Would hate to see houses developed on this land..
