And you go and mention Kitchenview! You don't see THAT place in our forecast list!
Hurrumph...
Top 5 surfed
Zicatela, peaks like straddie, just on a much larger scale!
J-Bay with good sand for back to back to back to back swells
Portugal, most flawless beachy for a week straight
A remote NSW rivermouth that thought it was G-land for the day
Tahiti away from chopes
Top 5 most wanted
Big sand churning Mundaka
500m long indo tunnel, doesn't matter where but have to be travelling at mach 10 speed the whole tube, no washing off speed, arm stalling or waiting for sections, just flying and hooting the whole way.
South pacific yacht adventure, island after island of passes and clear blue water
Reunion, minus the sharks
Madagascar - some amazing looking reef passes on google up the northern end

Meh, I'm a NSW / QLD surfer, never ventured down there. I dunno man, when I see those photos of long walled rights, looks like my carving dream.
Throw 5 darts at a map of the Pacific (except Fiji, been there). Many Islands and setups there that I'd love to have a go at.
I feel pretty humbled by the fact that I've surfed quite a few spots on peoples lists above.
The Maldives is another I've been wanting to do for decades.
Suwarrow ? Care to explain.
Quick google Blowin will get you on the right track.

Jump on google earth Blowin. :)

Sounds like NoKanduis, one Palm or Apocalypse would be the go for your timetravelling adventure :)
Looks beautiful. The internet is the best and the worst thing to ever happen to surfing.
Itching to see GoPro tube footage of Panaitan, footage from the tube that day would be insane.
Would be the most perfect wave if it didn't have that end close-out section. Looks like 1/10 if that makeable through.
Killers
Spilsby
Raglands
Seaside
Punto du Ouro
Couple of those waves I don't think I would like till I kicked out at the end if you know what I mean, more like a list of waves I wish I had surfed when I was younger.
I like zens list.
Ye I know sad/controversial to name a wave in your own country but I agree with ACB theres something about all that footage of the long endless walls at Bells.

You know YYYYY southey
Lofoten
Thurso
Honolua Bay
Jeffreys Bay
P-Pass
And a million others. Probably a couple of lefts too.
Actually, I'd love to see Kelly's list of waves-he'd-like-to-surf-but-hasn't-got-around-to-surfing-them-yet. I wonder where he zooms into on Google Earth daydreams?
Kelly had a list of waves he'd like to surf at the back of one of his books. North Point was on there.
Lofoten - is that a wave or a destination ?
Well, it's the Lofoten Islands (Norway). Dunno the specific name of the main wave there but it looks like an icy version of Burleigh. But I'd love to check out the whole area to be honest.
For me it would be Honolulu Bay. Had some classic pictures of the wave being surfed over the years but the fondest memories are of early day shots with guys slotted riding single fins. I would give just about anything to surf that place with just a few out.
Thank you Shaun, that cheers me up. I'm a bit maudlin today.
Sheepdog wrote:Seems to be the most popular so far, Floyd.... Island juice + point break + amazing bowl + blow your mind scenery + warm crystal water.....
Let's not forget it's also the home to Hawaii's floral emblem - Maui Wowee

And you go and mention KV ! You don't see that localised WAVE name in our forecast list but Shaun goes and spills the beans for some other island !
Hummmmmmer...
Yeah well unlike you. , I didn't really go the geographic location . Although it can be misconstrued for
Tassie ! Your inclusion on the other hand is just cold hearted. . Besides others have mentioned a far more accessible and better island in that region !
Sheepy , you can have that location here , just you and only 100,000 others have surfed it !
Yeah the closest thing ( I presume ) I've had to Kirra proper is here in Victoria !!! But only twice , and bigger so probably more comparable to Barra . Good luck finding it , and even luckier than multiple lottery wins getting it on
. Am I the only person that has surfed P-Pass !? ??
The only thing better than PPass , is taking the PPiss......
Name your top 5..
