Ive got to say i was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the film Drift, really good story and good acting and of coarse surfing, by Ando and Tom Innes. If you havent seen it give it a watch.
Another good Aussie movie imo is "Tomorrow when the war began" so much money must have been spent on that film yet i dont think enough people would have seen it to make their money back. I dont know but i thought it was a great aussie film.
