What a great day for one of surfing's few mental health organisations today as Mark "Occy" Occhilipo becoming an ambassador for Komunity Project and the face of Surfers Against Suicide.
“I’m really happy to become an ambassador for Komunity Project along with the other team riders. I’ve always been a fan of their products and to come on board is really exciting. As the name alludes, they are a community oriented company, so to also become a face of the Surfers Against Suicide initiative is something I’m really passionate about.”
The primary objective of SAS is to galvanize the international surfing community to raise funds and awareness for suicide prevention and promote better mental health and resilience. To create a world where young people have such health, resilience and support that suicide is never an option.
