Have a brutal wetty rash under me arms, anyone got any advice how I can get it healed up whilst I'm not surfing for the next 5 days?

Cheers

Am-O-lin ointment. The same stuff used for babies nappie rash.

Good stuff.

I use lip balm, similar to paw paw. And if desperate a little dollop of sunscreen not rubbed in does the job but will also sting a little.

Bike shops also sell this anti-rash/chafe balm which is useful as well.

I use honey on my nipples but that's only after the sun goes down.

When surfing with a rash
zinc, haemarrhoid cream, bepanthen all work well.
Also pawpaw or vaseline (wash hands well after so not to put it on your wax).

Should heal pretty quick while you're not surfing for 5 days I imagine

Oh, misread that, thought it was while surfing the next 5 days. Yeah will heal up in that time for sure. No need for those above unless your t-shirt is irritating it.

I found that the only time i've got a rash under my arms was when my wetsuit was too loose for me. Wetsuit sizing is quite an art. This article sums up what you should be looking for in a good fit: https://surfsupmagazine.com/how-tight-should-a-wetsuit-be/

These bloody suits rip out under the arm pits. Leroy calls himself a masochist,
the under-arm rash making a liar of him/her/they/them depending on day of the week.
The lube will limit onset but just need to harden the underarms. Shouldn't be hard for an Australian

this stuff is great for many skin probs
https://www.98alive.co/
it is tea tree oil based - invented by an Aussie scientist. it is safe to imbibe also. not something you can normally do with tea tree oil as it could kill you but this stuff willnot kill anything but problems. tea tree oil is one of the few oils in the world that is anti-viral/bacterial/fungal all in one. amazing tree.
Blackseed oil is good for your skin too - from nigella sativa seeds - but the oil is for prevention, not cure. The Arabs say that NS cures everything but death.
good luck BRC
