Australia…Urea have no one to blame but yourself.

Urea is just the tip of the iceberg. I always have a laugh when Aussies whinge and get all patriotic. Bring back Australian manufacturing they say. Well, it’s those whinging that contribute to the demise of Aus made. You shop at Aldi, you use Uber, you have food delivered, you buy the home brands….yada yada yada.
Support local…is never going to happen. Most are too dumb to know and too selfish to change.

You know what’s even better?

A few weeks ago a Korean ship came and grabbed a large portion of Australia’s urea reserves and the government let them because…..?

Go Australia!

Crazy.

Aus increased out fuel emergency reserves...and put the fuel in storage in the USA. Dumb

The weird thing about the urea issue is that the fertiliser plant in Brisbane is also shutting down due to lack of economical gas supply. How’s Barnaby going to sort out the increasing fertiliser prices for his farmers….?

The gas supply -or lack of- directly attributable to government.

At which point can we declare the government as criminally corrupt to the point of treason?

Both LNP and Labor Federal Govts signed off on gas export contracts that saw all of AUs gas production sold for export with zero provision / reserve for domestic use. The last federal govt to sign the last of our gas away was a Labor Govt and the resources minister at the time was Martin Ferguson, former head of the ACTU. To rub salt into the wound Ferguson left parliament and immediately took up a senior role for some mining and minerals lobby group. Corruption of the democratic process right there and now we need to fuck ooops I mean fucking frack some of best farming land to secure a domestic gas supply!

Both LNP and Labor are useless. Neither is better than the other and both make poor incompetent decisions.

The ripple effect can be fascinating with the global economy. I’d never realised that the Adblue used with diesel is also a derivative of urea and without it, the trucks won’t go.

I don't agree Roadkill and that's not because I have a great love of the ALP. It's based on the fact the Liberal Party rely on the Nationals to govern, and fuck me are the nationals a pack of true fucking idiots.
If they had a competition to see who is their biggest nutter is, Barnaby wouldn't even come close to being on the podium. And this is a bloke who is an alcoholic, bangs on about family values while knocking up his press secretary, points to the sky and says there's bigger forces at work here, and shows up to parliament shit faced half the time.
Have a fucking look at George Christensen FFS. The Minister for Manilla. Another drunken sleaze bag who is encouraging the lunatic audience of InfoWars to protest outside Australian embassies. FFS, McKenzie is a rorter, and Canavan plays dress ups and acts like a 12 year old troll. Sam (female) Macmahon got shitfaced the other day at the Christmas Party and threw multiple punches at some Nat official, and Gerard Rennick is 6 sangas short of a picnic.
Labor may not be everyone's cup of tea, but at least they don't rely on truly unhinged muppets to form government.

And when does any of that matter when the end result is basically destroying the final vestiges of onshore manufacturing with global high gas prices, destroying living standards with residential energy prices through the roof cause they’ve sent the gas offshore and continuous fuckingnofbthe environment and water supply through the confected necessity of fracking due to-you guessed it - sending our Dom gas reserves offshore.

But…..they’re not drunk!

I almost wish they were drunk. At least making bad pissed decisions is preferable to the alternative of them being stone cold sober corrupt cnts who have corporate profit and brown paper bags as a higher priority than Australia.

blowin, I haven't been following the gas price debate enough to comment, but I do know this: A re-elected LNP govt would not get competent and less corrupt. They would only get worse. And that "worse" could be a hell of a lot worse given the truly unhinged nature of their current crop of politicians.
If they get a mandate to continue with their shitfuckery, they have enough corrupt scumbags to really fuck up the country. There's no consequences for being a crook in the LNP. Think how bad it would get if they got another term.
Govt's are like nappies mate. They need changing or the stench just gets worse. And the current nappy is already overflowing with shit.
