Btw Toby Green's effort was a bit grubby but not done with any real venom. He hit Heeney who is his business partner and mate. A fine at most. Green's comment about Papley at half time was gold.
I liked the comment at half time.

Not sure how honorable that loss was SR ? , felt like the Cats didnt really get out of second gear and had plenty left in the tank if the bombers got too close . It feels like we are many , many years away from any sort of success now ........

That's a very fair call and i get that 'we' shouldn't be too stoked on any 40point wallopings, but watching most of the games closely over the last month, and seeing so many young kids that have never played AFL football all of a sudden put out on the big stage and expected to gel as a team has been an impossible task. Seeing them slowly create their own culture and team dynamics and start to be competitive is the small wins that i'm happy to see. Gotta be realistic, that when you lose most of your team to injury, it's gonna throw the whole system out the window. We were looking pretty good at the start of the year before the injuries smashed us to bits. A bit of glass half full but gotta support he lads through the dark times.

Yeah shit, what's happened to Charlie. You can see the magics still there but the desire seems to have eluded him. I'd still hang in there with Hippo. Granted he's probably the most frustrating player on your list as a supporter, but he did show he could stand up in the big moments in the GF last year so might be worth persevering with. Not sure what's wrong with Lohrman but he'd be a handy inclusion back in the forward line right now for his pure grit.
