It is very difficult to see how the USA can recovery any sort of global reputation of decency.
Not just the US , but most of the West. Heartbreaking that the international law and bodies that was put into practice after WW2 to try and bring humanity foward in peace (idealistic, yeah) are being systematically destroyed, ignored and dismantled.
Gaza is a stain that will never go away, the holocaust of the 21st century. No one can claim as they did with Nazis that they were unaware of what was happening, its been life streamed by perpetrators into our hand held devices.
Trump is a symptom of the rot, not the cause.

Talking to a seppo out in the lineup who was heading home yesterday. He was dreading going back and said his country is in big trouble . Another guy chipped in “ will they let you back in ? “ he sorta laughed and said “ not if they check out my social media “ Can’t say I’ve met any MAGA in the surf yet , just the odd ozzie that reckons Trump’s alright, that always gives me a laugh .
