This week and weekend (Apr 25 – May 1)

Looking at the coming period and there's no change to the short-medium term forecast.

The westerly storm track will remain too zonal to generate any decent swell for us at all next week.

We do have some interesting developments later next week and beyond as a strong and intense mid-latitude moves in from the west.

The models diverge regarding the positioning, movement and intensity at this early stage, but we're looking at a small increasing in N/NE swell ahead of a possibly bigger follow up S'ly pulse as the low pushes slowly east.
