'The Road To Patagonia' - Tour Update
Despite the title of his film being The Road To Patagonia, Matty Hannon's journey began half a world away from the frigid mountains of South America.
Matty spent five years in the Mentawai, living with the tribes and fostering friendships. If you've seen the film, you'll understand his experiences there connects with various interactions all down the west coast of the Americas. Matty tailors a thread that connects people living world's apart.
Coming full circle, lately Matty's been working with the Mentawai Sikerei (shamans) to build and operate a traditional animistic school. Crowd-funding the necessary funds, they're currently at $26,555 of a $30,000 target. So getting close.

"By building a small forest-school, we are simply helping to do what the Mentawai people themselves are determined to execute; this is their project, their idea, their culture, and their future - but we as a community can help them realise that vision."
As for the film tour, The Road To Patagonia has already sold out 41 shows with some big nights to come - see dates below and click here to buy tickets.
