It's gonna be a light and sound spectacular when Wash and Andrew Kidman & The Windy Hills hit the road later this month. Apart from proto punk rock and crazy horse jamming, the bands will also do a live performance of the upcoming film, No Static in the Stars.

No Static in the Stars is a series of fourteen short films featuring the surfing brilliance of Craig Anderson, Creed McTaggart, Ryan Burch, and Ellis Ericson, alloyed to the unique filmmaking of Jon Frank, Mick Waters, Monty Webber, Patrick Trefz, amongst others.

The tour dates are:

Wednesday August 30th, Bondi Bowls, Bondi
Thursday August 31st, Heritage Hotel, Bulli
Friday September 1st, Manly Boatshed, Manly
Saturday September 2nd, Avalon Bowls, Avalon

Tickets $20 on the door and all show starts at 7pm.

And for a quick teaser here's Wash bassist, Creed McTaggart, dancing to a different tune - 'Money Talks' by New Gum Sarn.

No Static in the Stars will be released on DVD and digitally September 29. Stay tuned for more details.
