Now that J'Bay is over let's shift the focus a few thousand kms east. The waiting period for the Rip Curl Cup Padang Padang started...well, I can remember when it started but it's begun. Any decent sized swell could kick the thing over. And fortunately for the organisers they're on the cusp of an incredible run of swell, maybe even the best of the season. Starting mid next week the whole island chain, or at least the bits that matter to us surfers, will cop a week and a half of sustained swell with multiple peaks.

So about now the organisers are unfurling the bunting and ramping up the marketing. Which brings us to this: the top five monents of the Rip Curl Cup for you to dissect and debate. We'll have more on the coming Indo swells shortly.
