Nervous Laughter trailer - video

Swellnet Dispatch

It's not unusual for the crew from Take Shelter Productions to shine a light on Jaws, it's the crown jewel in the big wave world and it's also in their own backyard. Every time it breaks they document it.

This time 'round, however, they've taken a people-centric approach, documenting the local crew and how they bend their lives to accomodate the enormity of Jaws.

Here's the trailer. Full movie now available on iTunes.

Can anyone explain to me why when you watch big wave surfers it seems ok to drop in? It seems to happen on a regular basis.

Pulling off on a wave of that size with that much water moving is extremely dangerous, you'll get hung up in the lip and over the falls, must be fully committed.
