Early Season Balinese Perfection

During the Easter weekend, as every surfable coastline in Australia was hit by swell, Indonesia received its first significant swell of the season. Bali-based photographer, Mick Curley, spent two days driving around his island home shooting the waves from huge Outside Corner (that's Jim Banks in the first shot) to perfect Padang Padang and all the usual suspects on the Bukit. Mick also shot a few lesser known rights during the swell. We'll leave you to guess where they are.

Back to Life

After lying dormant for most of winter and spring the Noosa points came to life yesterday. From Granites to First Point each wave pumped under a mid-range ENE swell.

Aussie ex-pat, Mick Curley, who now calls Indonesia home, made a timely return to his old stompng ground and whipped out the camera after getting his morning fill of waves.
