The coming days look sizey but with average winds, improving for the weekend.
Into next week and we’ll see more of the same as another surge fills the Coral Sea early next week, holding or even rebuilding wave heights from Tues.
Tomorrow will be a lay day, with building swells into Friday, best from the weekend.
A storm force polar low is better aimed at Pacific targets but we’ll still see some long period S groundswell from it this weekend, with the proviso that S’ly winds will remain persistent.
With a widespread E-SE wind field in the Tasman at a minimum we’ll see moderate amounts of E/SE-E swell through the first half of next week with another round of fun surf on the Points.
Winds will improve for the South Coast, while some good W/SW swell is due on the Mid Coast.
