Synoptically, we’ll see a broad Tasman Low develop through Thursday that’ll end up displaying multiple low pressure centres. It looks like a complex, slow moving system that will occupy our swell window for quite some time.
New SW groundswell for tomorrow with a very limited window of clean conditions, less so Wednesday. Onshore Thursday and better Friday with a mix of SW swells. Building SW groundswell Saturday, peaking Sunday morning with offshore winds.

Pumping waves tomorrow with a good reinforcing S/SE groundswell for the morning, easing all weekend with a small S'ly pulse for Sunday in the mix. Tiny windswells most of next week with potential next weekend.
The weekend forecast is relatively straight forward: we’re at the peak of this current event, so from tonight we’re looking at a slow decrease in size from the south, all the way through into Sunday evening.
