Next week sees another weak high in the Tasman and weak winds in the Coral Sea. There may be just enough coverage to see some just rideable surf from Mon, but we are talking knee high at best.
No change to the short term outlook, with an onshore change due around lunchtime Thursday likely to see light/mod NW winds prior to its arrival.

We’re still looking at a fairly bland synoptic pattern with a weak, troughy environment in the Tasman, undergirded by zonal frontal activity well to the south. Some modest frontal activity pushes through late in the week with a developing N’ly flow on Sun set to provide some NE windswell.
Nothing amazing is expected as the energy sources weren’t terribly strong, nor were they well aligned perfectly within our swell window.
Into the weekend and we won’t see too much in the way of swell energy with the Indian Ocean in a quiet phase through the main WA swell window.

The result is a weak, troughy pattern in the Tasman and inland and weak winds in the Coral Sea- unstable but not very surfy. With nothing of any significance in the outlook we’ll see tiny/flat surf once this small signal fades away tomorrow.
