We’re back to an extended southerly swell regime across the East Coast. However, as has been discussed for the last couple of weeks, we also have some inbound E’ly energy from several sources in the South Pacific - one way out south of Tahiti mid-late last week, and another low that developed N/NE of New Zealand over the weekend.
South swell starts to push around the corner from late week.
Tiny until later week with a mix of W/SW and S/SW swells, then bigger out of the S/SW but with onshore winds.
We’re back to an extended southerly swell regime across Southern NSW.
Mix of swells over the coming couple of days, with windows of clean conditions to the north. Window of better waves in the South West on the weekend.
Plenty more swell out of the west along with winds from the same quadrant favouring the South Coast.
The westerly swells and winds continue through this period, biggest later week but very acute in nature.
Set waves will be equally as inconsistent as what we’ve seen over the last 72 hours, but a bigger risk on Saturday - especially across the Mid North Coast - is a freshening northerly breeze.
Looks like a tricky Saturday of waves.
