We’re now seeing a high pressure surge with building tradewinds across the Coral Sea. The fetch is a little disjointed, which does tap a bit off the size but we’ll still see some rideable 1-2ft surf develop through Tues/Wed.
Winds will remain onshore with the current swell, around Margs only weakening from Thursday as the surf becomes smaller.
The Tasman Sea is looking very benign to start the week with a large area of weak high pressure over the Eastern Seaboard and extending into the Tasman directing a weak N’ly flow down the South Coast of NSW. A weak front and trough will bring a wind change tomorrow but with no significant swell. Next week looks a little more active.
The remnants of the weekends frontal systems have set up a fading off axis fetch near New Zealand with the current run of small S swells also on the way out. A weak mid week front will bring a wind change and a small flush of S swell but next week looks a bit more robust although with plenty of wind.
We've got plenty more size inbound but with average winds tomorrow, good from Wednesday.

We've got a rapidly deepening low pressure system under the country, bringing a large, short-lived spike of groundswell.
Generally clean conditions the whole period with fun pulses of west swell.
The coming period remains tricky for the South West with no true offshore pattern but windows of decent conditions.
We should see an end to the flat spell by Tues next week, with a high pressure ridge building up the QLD coast and Tradewinds forming a broad fetch through the Southern/Central Coral Sea.
