The weekend looks really interesting. A series of new long period groundswells are expected to arrive, generated by a very intense series of fronts currently developing near Heard Island.
Late Thursday, a new W/SW swell is expected to push through, providing energy for Friday morning.
There are no new swell sources in the water for the next few days, so we can expect a continuation of this extremely inconsistent but otherwise fun E’ly swell over the weekend, sourced from a distant, retreating fetch in the South Pacific south of Fiji earlier in the week.
Very inconsistent NE swell tomorrow with less than ideal winds, cleaner and fading Sunday. No major surf next week.
Clean conditions all weekend with an easing W/SW swell tomorrow, tiny Sunday. Weak S/SW swell for Monday with a better SW groundswell Wednesday.
Only small surf this weekend, though conditions should be clean with mainly light winds.
Easing SW swell tomorrow with improving conditions, even cleaner Sunday and fun. New SW groundswell for Monday with offshore winds, and then less than ideal conditions for the rest of the week with lots of swell.
Easing W/SW swell tomorrow with a N/NW tending W/NW breeze and then a strong building SW swell with W/NW morning winds Offshore and easing Monday with a strong onshore change Tuesday.
Easing W/SW groundswell with N'ly winds tomorrow, building W/SW swell with good winds for protected spots on the Surf Coast Sunday, clean as it eases Monday.
