We should see some small S swell later in the week as a minor front/low pushes into the Tasman before a more substantial S swell event develops late in the weekend/early next week on the back of a cold outbreak and potential deep low in the Tasman.

The weekend will become small and slow, with some new, inconsistent NE swell due next week.
No shortage of east swell this weekend, with the low in the northern Tasman Sea generating some impressive energy that'll build through Saturday towards a peak early Sunday.
There are plenty of surf days this period with Sunday being the smallest and slowest.
The surf will ease into tomorrow with offshore winds through the morning, dicey Sunday as the swell kicks into the afternoon. Better surf and fun swells are due early-mid next week.
There's plenty of swell due from this afternoon through all of next week with the South Coast being cleanest and most workable.
