We’re starting with a blank canvas, and the outlook is up, up, up as a series of stepladder south swells build across the region this week.
Large building SW groundswell tomorrow but with lots of wind, followed by a secondary large S/SW groundswell Wednesday, easing Thursday with possible windows of cleaner conditions. Average Friday and clean and fun over the weekend.
Large SW groundswell building tomorrow followed by a larger S/SW swell Wednesday, easing into Thursday ahead of another large S/SW swell Friday. Windy but good waves in protected spots over the coming week.
It’s a relatively straight forward forecast for the weekend - easing size from this point onwards, with light variable winds for much of Saturday, freshening from the north Sunday.
The southern and western flank of the Tasman Low responsible for yesterday’s swell is still active, mid-way between New Zealand’s South Island and Tasmania.
