Plenty of surf days to pick from with plenty of swell and workable winds for most locations.
Whilst all of this is going on, a brand new NE tending E/NE cyclone swell will have started to filer down the coast, generated by TC Sansai which is currently north of Fiji, inside our swell shadow. It’s expected to push into our swell window by tomorrow, though will initially be unfavourably setup for our region. More in the Forecaster Notes.
The tropical cyclone mentioned in Monday’s and Friday’s notes is still well and truly on the radar. Unfortunately, we don't have the kind of wind forecast you hope will coincide with an easterly groundswell event of this kind. More in the Forecaster Notes.
