SE Qld will see a small building trade swell, from a ridge that’s expected to strengthen through the Coral Sea. Across Northern NSW, we have a few days of south swell to look forward to.
Fortunately, the models have slightly upgraded the strength of the front as it passes through eastern Bass Strait overnight Thursday. As such the southerly swell forecast for Friday has been increased since Wednesday’s notes.
Building N/NE windswell tomorrow afternoon with a late swing to offshore winds, followed by a building S'ly swell Friday, clean easing and good Saturday.
Tiny tomorrow with a stormy building S/SW swell Friday, much cleaner and easing Saturday morning. Small swell for Monday morning.
Large clean pumping SW swell tomorrow, smaller Friday but offshore again. Slow from the weekend although a good swell is due Sunday but with average winds.
Building W/SW storm swell on the Mid Coast tomorrow, from the SW down South, with a stronger W/SW groundswell for Friday afternoon as winds tend S/SE late. Clean easing surf Saturday, smaller Sunday. Fun South Coast waves early next week.
Tiny tomorrow morning with a building W/SW windswell into the afternoon, bigger out of the SW Friday. Mix of cleaner W/SW and SW swells easing Saturday with a morning offshore around Torquay. Good waves on the beaches Monday and Tuesday mornings.
The weekend looks OK across SE Qld, and reasonable across Northern NSW.
