Strong series of S'ly swells for Northern NSW next week
The SE swell has eased more rapidly than expected today, so I’m pulling back my expectations for Saturday’s waves.

Large inconsistent and long-period SW groundswell for tomorrow, easing through the day and further Sunday and Monday as winds improve. New W/SW swell for Wednesday and large new W/SW groundswell next weekend.
Next week is very tricky.
Windy and large stormy surf developing across both coasts tomorrow, easing Sunday with favourable conditions for protected spots down South. Reinforcing swell energy through next week with favourable winds for the South Coast, and clean on the Mid Tuesday.
No decent surfing options most of tomorrow until late in the day, with a large W/SW groundswell for Sunday morning along with favourable winds for the Surf Coast. Reinforcing swells for early-mid next week, cleanest across the Surf Coast each morning.
Broad brushstrokes can be applied to various coasts over the next few days.
Friday looks much better on the surface though with winds swinging to the NW as a weak trough moves over the area. This should clean up the beachies nicely and provide some excellent waves to finish the working week.
Poor conditions tomorrow morning and afternoon, improving later in the day with a mix of E/NE and stronger SE groundswell. Clean and easing Friday. Good S'ly groundswell mid-next week.
Nothing of note over the coming days ahead of some possible new W/SW swell late Sunday but more so Monday and then large SW groundswell Tuesday.
Poor tomorrow with small onshore surf, large and building through Friday though with generally onshore winds. Reinforcing large but less consistent SW groundswell for Saturday with better winds, clean and easing Sunday and Monday. Possible slightly larger groundswell for late next week/weekend.
