Plenty of W/SW tending S/SW swell over the coming period with good winds for the South Coast. Large new swell next week.
Increasing size and power to the surf over the coming days, best over the weekend. A large swell for next week but winds are a bit dicey at this stage.
We’re now well and truly on the backside of this recent run of prolonged southerly swell. The main casualty will be SE Qld, which - in the absence of any easterly swell - will see tiny conditions persist until the weekend. More in the Forecaster Notes.
An average surf outlook with tiny to flat conditions on the coast until next week.
So, the swell charts are flat-lined for the rest of the week. Though, the models had ~1ft surf for yesterday, and we ended up seeing occasional 3-4ft surf at south facing beaches. So, things aren’t always as they appear. More in the Forecaster Notes.
Nothing of note this period with clean conditions but generally tiny swells apart from one day.
Extra-large stormy surf tomorrow before easing slowly into the end of the week as conditions slowly improve. Next week is looking much better.
