A more classic looking summer chart to start next week with high pressure in the Tasman and low pressure centres near New Caledonia and in the South Pacific slot, with a healthy E’ly tradewind fetch extending across most of the Central and Southern Coral Seas and NE winds in the NETas swell window.
A more classic looking summer chart to start next week with high pressure in the Tasman and low pressure centres near New Caledonia and in the South Pacific slot, with a healthy E’ly tradewind fetch extending across most of the Central and Southern Coral Seas.
There's a mix of fun swells on the way with workable morning winds.
The weekend looks fairly average with a larger swell with better winds due early next week.
Weak high pressure moves into the Tasman with the remnants of a trough holding a modest fetch of SE breezes in the central Tasman.
The coming days look fun for the South Coast, with a decent westerly swell due later week.
Winds will improve over the coming days with fun pulses of swell.
We’ll see E’ly tradeswells continue across CQ into and over the weekend and early next week at a minimum. More significant E’ly swells are still on the table but contingent on low pressure developments next week.
As new high pressure drifts into the Tasman over the weekend we’ll see another round of NE windswell develop for NETas late in the weekend and early next week.
